Pasaka yacu niy’ itwibutsa(Our Passover is what reminds us)

Amaraso y’ Umwana w’ Imana(Of the blood of the Son of God)

Ni yo yadukuye mw Egiputa,(It is what brought us out of Egypt,)

Aho Satani yicir’ abantu(Where Satan was killing people)

Nimuze twese tumuhimbaze(Come, let us all praise Him)

Kuko yemeye kudupfir’ atyo(Because He agreed to die for us like that)

Yasa tuyemo na rwa rusika(He tore for us that veil)

Yatumye natwe twinjir’ ahera(That allowed us to enter the holy place)

Data, niba byashoboka(Father, if it is possible)

Iki gikombe sinkinywereho(Let this cup pass from me)

Ariko byose bib’ uk’ ushaka(But let everything be as You will)

Yadupfiriye ku musaraba(He died for us on the cross)

Byavuye ku ki? Ku rukundo rwe(Why? Because of His love)

Uwagambaniye Yesu Kristo(The one who betrayed Jesus Christ)

Kandi yar’ uwo mu bigishwa be(Was one of His disciples)

Nya mara yikururiy’ ishyano(But he brought trouble upon himself)
