Nahw inyenyeri zo zakwijima,(Even if the stars were darkened,)

Isezerano rihoraho(The promise remains forever)

Haba mu byago no mu mwijima,(Whether in trouble or in darkness,)

Naho nananirwa rnu ntambara,(Though I fail in battle,)
