Amasezerano yose ukw’ Iman’ iyatanga,

Yakomejwe n’ amaraso y’ Umwami wacu Yesu

Isi nib’ izavaho, Ijuru rikavaho

Uwizer’ azabona Ayo masezerano

(All the promises as God gives them,)

(Were confirmed by the blood of our Lord Jesus)

(Even if earth passes away, even if heaven passes away)

(The one who believes will see those promises)

Jy’ ukora nka Aburahamu, wubur’ amaso yawe

Bar’ inyenyeri wizere amasezerano ye

(Do like Abraham, lift up your eyes)

(Count the stars, believe His promises)

Mu mwijima wo mu nzira, twizer’ Imana yacu

Hasigay’ umwanya muto, izuba rikarasa

(In the darkness of the way, let us believe our God)

(A short time remains, the sun will rise)

Nubwo turushywa n’ abantu, twizer’ Imana yacu

Yesu ni w’ uzadufasha mu bitugerageza

(Though we are defeated by people, let us believe our God)

(Jesus is the One who will help us in what tests us)

Mu gihe tubuz’ inshuti, tuguman’ ukwizera

Yesu niwe nshuti nziza izahorana natwe

(When we lack friends, let us keep faith)

(Jesus is the good friend who will always be with us)

6.

No ku byo tubona mw’ isi, tuguman’ ukwizera

Mw’ ijuru tuzahabona ibyo twizeye byose

(And for what we see in the world, let us keep faith)

(In heaven we will see all that we believed for)
