Nari narazimiriyekure, nibagiwe Yesu,(I had wandered far away, having forgotten Jesus,)

Nyuma Yes’ ambwiz’ ijwi rye, rinzanir’ umunezero(Then Jesus spoke to me with His voice, bringing me joy)

Non’ ubu ndanezerewe, Kuko Yesu yantaruye(Now I am rejoicing, Because Jesus saved me)

Aherakw anyoz’ ibyaha. Niyemeje kumukunda(From there He washed away my sins. I have decided to love Him)

Sinajyaga niyibutsa ko nzajy’ imbere y’ Imana(I never used to think that I will go before God)
