Iby’ Iman’ ikora biradutangaza,(What God does amazes us,)

Nta n’ uwabimeny’ uko biri(No one can fully understand it)

Arikw icyo nzi nukw iby’ Iman’ ishaka,(But what I know is that what God wants,)

Ari byo nkwiriye gukora(Is what I should do)

Mu rugendo nta bwo nabimenya byose,(On the journey I cannot know everything,)

Ariko nzi ko nzabimenya(But I know that I will know)

Ni ku ki turizwa n’ ibyago biriho,(Why are we troubled by the hardships here,)

Kand’ ari byo mu gihe gito(When they are only for a short time)

Yesu nzi k’ ufit’ amagar’ ibihumbi,(Jesus I know You have thousands of chariots,)

Harimo n’ iryo wangeneye(Including the one You prepared for me)

Icyo wampitiyemo n’ ukugira ngo(What You put me through is so that)

Nzagere mw ijur’ amahoro(I will reach heaven in peace)

Kandi nk’ ukw Eliya yajyanywe ningoga,(And just as Elijah was taken swiftly,)

Nanjy’ uko ni ko nzava mw isi(I too will leave this world the same way)

Ubg’ ibyago byose bizaba bishize,(When all the troubles have ended,)

Hariho guhimbaz’ Imana(There will be praising God)

Tuzab’ ibihumbi turamy’ Umukiza(We will be thousands worshiping the Savior)

Tuzamuririmbira twese:(We will all sing to Him:)

Ur’ Iman’ ikiranuka muri byose(You are the God who is righteous in all things)

Ku buntu n’ inam’ utugira(For the grace and care You give us)

Ubu ntegereje kandi nihanganye(Now I am waiting and being patient)

Kuzasobanukirwa byose(To understand everything)

Mfit’ ibyiringiro bifit’ ubugingo,(I have hope that has life,)

Mfit’ umu gabane mw ijuru(I have an inheritance in heaven)
