Iby’ Iman’ ikora biradutangaza,

Nta n’ uwabimeny’ uko biri

Arikw icyo nzi nukw iby’ Iman’ ishaka,

Ari byo nkwiriye gukora

(What God does amazes us,)

(No one can fully understand it)

(But what I know is that what God wants,)

(Is what I should do)

Mu rugendo nta bwo nabimenya byose,

Ariko nzi ko nzabimenya

Ni ku ki turizwa n’ ibyago biriho,

Kand’ ari byo mu gihe gito

(On the journey I cannot know everything,)

(But I know that I will know)

(Why are we troubled by the hardships here,)

(When they are only for a short time)

Yesu nzi k’ ufit’ amagar’ ibihumbi,

Harimo n’ iryo wangeneye

Icyo wampitiyemo n’ ukugira ngo

Nzagere mw ijur’ amahoro

(Jesus I know You have thousands of chariots,)

(Including the one You prepared for me)

(What You put me through is so that)

(I will reach heaven in peace)

Kandi nk’ ukw Eliya yajyanywe ningoga,

Nanjy’ uko ni ko nzava mw isi

Ubg’ ibyago byose bizaba bishize,

Hariho guhimbaz’ Imana

(And just as Elijah was taken swiftly,)

(I too will leave this world the same way)

(When all the troubles have ended,)

(There will be praising God)

Tuzab’ ibihumbi turamy’ Umukiza

Tuzamuririmbira twese:

Ur’ Iman’ ikiranuka muri byose

Ku buntu n’ inam’ utugira

(We will be thousands worshiping the Savior)

(We will all sing to Him:)

(You are the God who is righteous in all things)

(For the grace and care You give us)

Ubu ntegereje kandi nihanganye

Kuzasobanukirwa byose

Mfit’ ibyiringiro bifit’ ubugingo,

Mfit’ umu gabane mw ijuru

(Now I am waiting and being patient)

(To understand everything)

(I have hope that has life,)

(I have an inheritance in heaven)
