Turakwinginze umuturerere(We pray that You raise him/her up)

No kubg’ ubuntu bawe, buri munsi(And by Your grace, every day)

Umuduher’ umugisha, Yesu(Grant us Your blessing, Jesus)

Mw isi huzuyemw ibigusha byinshi(In this world filled with many stumbling blocks)

Harimw ibyago byinshi bidutega(There are many dangers that lie in wait for us)

Ub’ umwungeri w’ uyu mwana, Yesu(Be a shepherd to this child, Jesus)

Umuyobore, umuber’ inshuti(Guide him/her and be a friend)

Yesu, kubg’ urukund’ umukomeze(Jesus, by Your love strengthen him/her)

Mufashe ntananirirwe mu nzira(Help him/her not to fail on the way)

Kand’ umurinde kubg’ ubuntu bgawe(And protect him/her by Your grace)

Ahore mu maboko yawe Yesu.(May he/she remain in Your arms, Jesus)

Umuh’ amazi yawe y’ ubugingo(Give him/her Your water of life)
