Ndirira kenshi mur’ iyi si ndimo,(I cry often in this world I am in,)

Ariko nuko ntarabona Yesu(But that is because I have not yet seen Jesus)

Nzaba mbumbatiwe mu maboko ye(I will be embraced in His arms)

Habah’ umucyo uhorahw iteka.: /(There will be eternal light forever.: /)

Kuko nzawibagirirwa kwa Yesu(Because I will forget it with Jesus)

Nubgo ngifite kubabazwa mw isi(Even though I still suffer in this world)

Mw ijuru nta mubabaro n’ urupfu(In heaven there is no sorrow and no death)
