Ubwiza bw’ Umwami Yesu

Atab’ aje mu mucyo we

Umeze nk’ uw’ umurabyo

Vug’ ubutumwa bw’ Imana

Ubu vug’ ufit’ umwete

Igihe kirege reje,

Cyo kugaruka kwa Yesu

(One day we will see)

(The glory of the Lord Jesus)

(Coming in His light)

(Looking like lightning)

(Proclaim the message of God)

(Now proclaim it with zeal)

(The time is approaching,)

(For the return of Jesus)

Twawutegereje kenshi

Ubw’ imbaraga z’ u rupfu

Zizaba zirangiy’ ubwo

(That day that is like that,)

(We have awaited it many times)

Wo gu sanganira Yesu

Mw ijuru ku Mucunguzi

Yuko Yesu ari hafi

Uwo Mwam’ azagaruka

Kutujyan’ iwe mw ijuru

(That Jesus is near)

(That Lord will return)
