Harih’ umuns’ izuba rizarasa,(There is a day when the sun will rise,)

Wa munsi tuzageraho mw ijuru(That day we will arrive there in heaven)

Ni ho tuzaba dutay’ umuruho(That is where we will lay down our burdens)

Tuzaba dufit’ umunezer’ udashira(We will have joy that never ends)

Tuzamusanganira Yesu Kristo(We will meet Jesus Christ)

Kuk’ ari we wadukirije mur’ iyi si(Because He is the one who saved us in this world)

Tuzamwitegerereza mw ijuru(We will wait for Him in heaven)

Tuzamushimir’ urukundo yadukunze(We will thank Him for the love He loved us with)

Harih’ umunsi tuzabona byose(There is a day we will see everything)

Iman’ ibihinduye kuba bishya(God will have made things new)

Kur’ uwo munsi Umukiza wacu(On that day our Savior)

Azatwugururir’ urugi rwo mw ijuru(Will open the gate of heaven for us)

Tugeragezwa kenshi mu rugendo(We are tested often on the journey)

Tuzanezerwa tugeze mw ijuru(We will rejoice when we reach heaven)

Kand’ umwijima nta bw’ uzahagera(And darkness will never reach there)

Tu zarushaho guhimbaz’ Umucunguzi(We will praise the Redeemer even more)
