Ba bakobga cumi biteguye Kujya gusanganira wa mukwe
bari bajyany’ amatara yabo, Ngw abamurikire mu mwijima
Abatanu bar’ abanyabgenge, Bujuj’ amavuta mu mperezo,
Nahw abandi batanu b’ abapfu mu mperezo zabo hari humye
(Ten virgins prepared to go meet the bridegroom)
(They were carrying their lamps, to give them light in the darkness)
