Ifit’ umutima w’ urukundo
Kukw ijy’ intungish’ ibinkwiriye
Umunezero n’ umubabaro
Byos’ abi nzaniramw amahoro
(I should not be anxious,)
(Wondering how tomorrow I will be)
(I will remember that the LORD)
(Knows all these things as they are)
(He has a heart of love)
(Because He gives me what is fitting for me)
(Joy and sorrow)
(All these will bring me peace)
Amba hafi ndetse buri munsi,
Kand’ angerer’ ubuntu bukwiye
Ajy’ anyikorerer’ imitwaro
Ni we Data kandi ni we Mana!
Nguk’ ukw ajy’ antunga buri munsi,
Ajy’ anda mira mur’ ibyo byose
Buri muns’ azajy’ amp’ imbaraga
Iryo n’ isezera no yampaye
(He is near to me every day,)
(And gives me sufficient grace)
(He carries my burdens for me)
(He is Father and He is God!)
(This is how He provides for me every day,)
(He is faithful to me in all things)
(Every day He will give me strength)
(That is the promise He gave me)
Mana yanjye, komez’ ujy’ umfasba
Ngutaramire ntez’ icy’ umbwira
Mpore nizey’ ijambo wambwiye
Sinkabure ku mbaraga zawe
No mu bikomeye birih’ ubu

ump’imbaraga ku buntu bwawe
kugez’ igih’ uzaza kunjyana
(My God, continue to help me)
(May I wait for You, expecting what You tell me)
(That I may believe the word You told me)
(May I not lose hold of Your strength)
(Even in the difficulties that exist now)
(Extend Your arms to me)
(Give me strength by Your grace)
(Until the time You come to take me)
