Umwitab’ uyu munsi

Har’ ubw’ iri jwi wumv’ uyu munsi

Ryab’ ari ryo rya nyuma

Yew’ ugendera mu byaha

Yesu aragushaka!

Ngw akubabarir’ ibyaha

Ngwin’ umusange vuba

(You are called by Jesus often,)

(Answer Him today)

(Perhaps this voice you hear today)

(May be the last one)

(You who walk in sins)

(Jesus is seeking you!)

(To forgive your sins)

(Come and meet Him quickly)

Umudendezo wo mur’ iyi si

Nta bw’ uguh’ amahoro

Kand’ ibikorwa by’ abanyabyaha

Byose biragushuka

(The pleasures of this world)

(Will never give you peace)

(And the works of sinners)

(All of them deceive you)

Mu gih’ utazi nih’ umwijima

W’ urupf’ ukugeraho

Mugenzi wanjye nkugir’ inama

Ngwino witabe Yesu

(When you do not know, that is when darkness)
