Idudubiza muri we(Overflowing in Him)

Yesu ni we wuguruye(Jesus is the One who opened)

Rwa rurembo rwo mw ijuru,(The gates of heaven,)

Kugira ngo ndwinjiremo(So that I may enter)

Kubg’ ubuntu bginsh’ agira(Because of His abundant grace)

Nababay’ iminsi myinshi,(I suffered for many days,)

Nasaga n’ inyon’ ihigwa(I was like a hunted bird)

Natakiy’ Umwami Yesu(I cried out to the Lord Jesus)

Na we ntiyanyirukanye(And He did not reject me)

Yanyogej’ ibyaha byose,(He washed away all my sins,)

Kuber’ ubgo bunt’ agira(Because of the grace He has)

Ndirimban’ umunezero(I sing with joy)

Mu gitondo cy’ agakiza(In the morning of salvation)

Nzagera mur’ iryo rembo(I will reach that gate)

Kuber’ urukund’ afite(Because of the love He has)
