Gukiz’ umutim’ ubabajwe n’ ibyaha,

Nyamar’ amaraso ya Yesu Mukiza

Yashoboye kunkura mu byaha byose

Narakijijwe. si kubw’ imari,

Kubw’ ubuntu narakijijwe

Yanyishyu riye ya myenda yose

Yamviriy’ amaraso ye

(Silver and gold cannot)

(Save a heart troubled by sins,)

(But the blood of Jesus the Savior)

(Was able to take me out of all sins)

(I was saved, not by money,)

(By grace I was saved)

(He paid all my debts)

(He poured out His blood for me)

Yanyogej’ ibyaha mbon’ agakiza ke

Ni yo kimenyetso kigeza mw ijuru.
