Nabony’ uburuhukiro

Muri Kristo Yesu

Ni We musa nihishemo;

Nta handi nizeye

Nta wundi wese nizera;

Nta kindi nireguza,

Keretse Yesu wabambwe,

Ari jyew’ azize

(I have found rest)

(In Christ Jesus)

(He alone is my hiding place;)

(There is no other I trust)

(There is no other I believe in;)

(Nothing else I rely on,)

(Except Jesus who was crucified,)

(Who died for me)

Mpagijwe n’ agakiza ke,

Nta bwoba ngifite;

Yansanze, nd’ umunyabyaha;

Maz’ aranyakira

(I am secured by His salvation,)

(I have no more fear;)

(He found me, a sinner;)

(And He received me)

Kand’ iyo ndway’ aramvura,

Nkaba muzima pe;

Njya mpeshwa n’ amaraso ye

Ubugingo bushya

(And when I am sick, He heals me,)

(Making me completely whole;)

(I am given by His blood)

(A new life)

N’ Ijambo ry’ Imana;

Nkijijwe kubw’ izina rye,

Singishidikanya

(I am comforted by His Word,)

(The Word of God;)

(I am saved by His name,)

(I do not doubt)
