Nari mw isayo y’ ibyaha,(I was in the pit of sin,)

Aramfat’ aransayura(He took me and cleansed me)

Nari mu mwijim’ ukomeye(I was in deep darkness)

Non’ aramurikira,(Now He gives me light,)
