Kw’ Imana yonyine—Yambohoye
(The grace of God—How amazing)
(It is what removed—My chains)
(Why did it happen?)
(It came from the will)
(Of God alone—Who freed me)
Ni Yesu wenyine—Wantoreye
Guhirwa mw’ ijuru—Mu bgami bge
Mwese nimumenye Yuk’Umukiza wacu

(It is Jesus alone—Who chose me)
