Mpimbariz’ Iman’ ibyo yankoreye:
Yatanz’ Umwana wayo w’ ikinege,
Amfir’ ab’ icyiru cy’ ibyaha byanjye;
Nukw anshir’ icyanzu ngo njye mw ijuru
Nsingize, nsingize Yesu wamfiriye!
Nsingize, nsingize uwo Mwami wanjye!
Namwe ngo nimuz’ abageze kwa Se;
Mumwitabe mwese, mumusingize
(I praise God for what He has done for me:)
(He gave His only begotten Son,)
(To die as a ransom for my sins;)
(And prepare a place for me in heaven)
(I glorify, I glorify Jesus who died for me!)
(I glorify, I glorify that Lord of mine!)
(And you who have come to the Father;)

Nta wavug’ uburyo tuzamushima
(He has done mighty things! Let us rejoice!)
(Let us rejoice in His grace and mercy)
(When He comes and we see Him face to face,)
