Kuko mbyemereye

kubwawe Kugira ngo ngushimishe

Ndagukunda,

Yesu Wemere kumpaka,

Nta kindi cyampaza, Mwami,

Keretse wowe

(Lord Jesus, I do love You,)

(I give myself in truth)

(Your great and boundless love)

(Is what assures my heart)

(I'm not troubled by the trials)

(That this world brings to me,)

(For I've accepted all)

(for You To bring You glory)

(I love You, Lord,)

(I love You more and more,)

(I grow in joy and peace;)

(In plenty or in want,)

(There's nothing like this peace)

(But, Jesus, without You,)

(No peace remains for me;)

(Though earthly things are good,)
