Nimushim’ izina ryiza ry’ Uwiteka Rurema;

N’ icyubahiro cye cyinshi nimucyamamaze hose hose !

Nimuvug’ urukundo rwe, bose barwumve,

Abo ku mpera y’ isi bamenye kw akiza

Urukundo rw’ Uwiteka ruratemba nk’ uruzi

Kand’ ubuntu bge n’ ibambe ntago bizashir’ iteka ryose

(Praise the glorious name of God the Creator;)

(And His great honor proclaim everywhere!)

(Declare His love, that all may hear,)

(That those at the ends of the earth may know salvation)

(The love of the Almighty flows like a river)

(And His mercy and compassion will never end forever)

Nimushim’ Umwami Yesu: ni we Mwana w’ Intama

Wapfiriy’ abanyabyaha, hanyum’ agahambga mu gituro

Maze, ku wa gatatu, yanesheje urupfu,

Arazuk’ arazamuka, yima mw ijuru

(Praise the Lord Jesus: He is the Lamb of God)

(Who died for sinners, then rested in the tomb)

(Then, on the third day, He conquered death,)

(He rose and ascended, now reigns in heaven)

Kand’ umuns’ uzaza vuba, Yes’ agaruke mw isi

Kwim’ ingoma ye n’ ubgami mu cyubahiro n’ ubgiza bginshi,

Isi n’ ijuru byombi binezerwe hamwe

N’ inyamaswa n’ inyoni n’ ibyaremwe byose

(And that day will soon come, Jesus will return to earth)

(To establish His throne and kingdom in glory and great power,)

(The earth and heaven both will rejoice together)

(With all the animals and birds and every created thing)

Icyo gihe cy’ ibirori, tuzarimba twishimye,

Twiteguye nk’ umugeni, ukw arimba yitegur’ umukwe;

kukw umwam’ azamanuka ngw az’ adusange,

Tub’ imbata ze zera zinezerw’ iteka

(In that time of celebration, we will sing with joy,)

(Prepared like a bride, as the bride prepares for the groom;)

(for the Lord will descend to come and meet us,)

(We'll be His faithful servants rejoicing forevermore)
