Icyakunkundishij’ utyo,

Nd’ uwatsinzwe, mpindanye

Biranyobeye, birantangaje:

Nzajya mbitangarira !

Yuko wankunz’ utyo, Yesu !

(Jesus, I stand before You,)

Ntibib’ uko jye nshaka

N’ ibyaha byanjye byakwishe,

Ntabg’ ari za nguma nsa !

Ntangar’ iyo mbyibutse:

Ibyo byabaye kubganjye

Rya jor’ i Getsemane

Wishyizehw ibyaha byanjye,

Bihinduka nk’ ibyawe;

Wehoho nta cyo wakoze:

Ni jye bakujijije!
