Amahoro Yesu—Ah’ abantu be

Ntagir’ akagero, —Ntarondoreka;

Ajy’ ahumuriza—Abayafite;

N’ utayata, ntabwo—Wayakurwaho

Wiringir’ Imana: —Uyiringira

Ntabur’ amahoro—Mez’ adashira

(The peace of Jesus—For His people)

(Is without measure,—Unfathomable;)

(It comforts—Those who have it;)

(And without it, no one—Could be taken from it)

(Trust in God:—Trust Him)

(You will not lack peace—Good and eternal)

Abo Yes’ arindish’—Amaboko ye

Nta mubish’ ubasha—Kubageraho;

Nta magany’ abasha—Guhagarika

Imitim’ irindwa—N’ Umucunguzi

(Those whom Jesus keeps—In His hands)

(No evil one can—Reach them;)

(No power can—Stop)

(The hearts kept—By the Redeemer)

Ibyishimo byose—N’ ibyago byacu

Biva mu rukundo—Rw’ Umwam’ Imana

We gushidikanya; —Jy’ uyiringira;

Ntiyahemukira—Uyizer’ atyo

(All our joys—And our dangers)

(Come from the love—Of the Lord God)

(Never doubt Him;—Just trust Him;)

(He will not fail—Those who believe this way)
