Kurwana n’ ibyaha(To fight against sin)

Umugaba n’ Umwana we:(Sharing with His Son:)

Intwari ye ni nde?(Who are His heroes?)

Wikorer’ umusaraba,(Take up your cross,)

Ugendane na We(Walk with Him)

Mufatany’ imibabaro,(Share in suffering,)

Nuk’ ub’ intwari ye !(Then be His hero!)

Sitefano yakubiswe(Stephen was struck down)

Kubw’ uwo Mwami we,(For his Lord,)

Yasabirag’ abanzi be,(He prayed for his enemies,)

Ubgo bamwicaga(Though they were killing him)
