Ni Yo ngab’ idukingira

Ayo turi mu makuba,

Ni Y’ ibasha kudukiza

Uk’ Umwanzi wacu

Yishakiy’ uburyo

Bgo kudatsinda,

Ntatubasha na gato,

Kukw’ Iman’ iturengera

(God is our refuge:)

(He is the one who shelters us)

(When we are in trouble,)

(He is able to save us)

(How our Enemy)

(Has sought ways)

(To not be defeated,)

(He cannot harm us at all,)

(For God protects us)
