Nubg’ ur’ Uwaturemye, ni ko wagiriwe!

(At Your birth, Jesus, they laid You)

(In a rough manger, in a cattle trough)

(You were placed, Savior, in an unworthy place)

(Though You are our Creator, this is how You were treated!)
