Yaje kudukorany’ abe,

Tubane mw ijuru

Ub’ ari kw irembo!

Nukw araje, nukw araje,

Kand’ ageze kw irembo

(The King has reached the gate,)

(He who was nailed on the Cross;)

(He has come to gather His own,)

(That we may dwell in heaven)

(At the gate, at the gate!)

(He is at the gate!)

(Behold He is coming, behold He is coming,)

(And He has reached the gate)
