Mwam’ ubugingo bwacu ni nk’ umunsi:(Lord, our life is like a day:)

Ni buke rwose ntiburama cyane;(It is short indeed, it does not last long;)

Kand’ ibyishimo byabgo birashira:(And its joys fade away:)

Mwam’ udahinduka, tugumane(Unchanging Lord, stay with us)
