Kiz’ abarimbuka; renger’ abapfa;

Bakiz’ ibyaha n’ urupfu rubi!

Shak’ abazimiye; byuts’ abaguye;

Menyesha bose ko Yes’ akiza

Kiz’ abarimbuka, renger’ abapfa,

Bageze kwa Yesu, ngw’ abakize !

(Save the perishing; rescue the dying;)

(Save them from sin and terrible death!)

(Seek the lost; lift up the fallen;)

(Tell everyone that Jesus saves!)

(Save the perishing, rescue the dying,)

(Bring them to Jesus, that He may save them!)

Abamushungera, na bo ntabanga;

Ategerej’ abihana neza

Bahate bihane, bizere Yesu

Ujy’ ubasabira ngo bakizwe

(Those who follow Him, He has no secrets from them;)

(He awaits those who repent sincerely)

(Let them hasten to repent, believing in Jesus)

(Always pray for them to be saved)

Toz’ abazimiye, be kuzuyaza,

Barek’ irari ridakwiriye:

Non’ ubakangure, bisubiremo,

Bagarukir’ Uwabacunguye

(Seek the lost, do not give up,)

(Let them abandon improper desires:)

(Now awaken them, let them repent,)

(Let them return to the One who redeemed them)

Kiz’ abarimbuka: yaragutumye,

Kand’ akubashish’ uwo murimo

Bos’ ubayobore mu nzira ntoya!

Menyesh’ indushyi ko zaruhuwe !

(Save the perishing: He has sent you,)

(And He empowers you for this work)

(Lead them all on the narrow path!)

(Tell the weary that they have rest!)
