Har’ ubw’ abagore
Bazany’ abana babo,
Abigishwa ntibemera
Ko barushya Yesu
Nyamara Yes’ abony’ibyo,
Arabahamagar’ ati:
Mwemerer’ abana ngo baz’ aho ndi !
(There was a time when women)
(Brought their children,)
(The disciples did not agree)
(That they should bother Jesus)
(But Jesus saw this,)
(He called them saying:)
(Let the children come to where I am!)
Ati: Ndabakira,
Mbashyire ku bibero;
Ntimuzi ko nd’ Umwungeri
W’ abana bato, se?
Ni banyisunga bitanze,
Nzabaha kujya mw ijuru:
Mwemerer’ abana ngo baz’ aho ndi !
(He said: I receive them,)
(I put them on My lap;)
(Do you not know that I am the Shepherd)
(Of little children?)
(Let them come to Me completely,)
(I will give them access to heaven:)
(Let the children come to where I am!)

Bo mumahanga yose !
kumv’inkuru za Yesu,
Bakaza kuriwe
Abeyurir’ umwijima ,
Abakiran’ imbabazi !
Twemerer’abana ngo baz’ahwari!
(What would give us children)
(From all nations!)
(To hear the news of Jesus,)
(Coming to Him)
(He lifts them from darkness,)
(He receives them with mercy!)
(Let us allow children to come to where He is!)
