Har’ ubw’ abagore(There was a time when women)

Bazany’ abana babo,(Brought their children,)

Abigishwa ntibemera(The disciples did not agree)

Ko barushya Yesu(That they should bother Jesus)

Nyamara Yes’ abony’ibyo,(But Jesus saw this,)

Mwemerer’ abana ngo baz’ aho ndi !(Let the children come to where I am!)

Ati: Ndabakira,(He said: I receive them,)

Mbashyire ku bibero;(I put them on My lap;)

Ntimuzi ko nd’ Umwungeri(Do you not know that I am the Shepherd)

W’ abana bato, se?(Of little children?)

Ni banyisunga bitanze,(Let them come to Me completely,)

Nzabaha kujya mw ijuru:(I will give them access to heaven:)

Mwemerer’ abana ngo baz’ aho ndi !(Let the children come to where I am!)

Icyaduh’abana(What would give us children)

Bo mumahanga yose !(From all nations!)

kumv’inkuru za Yesu,(To hear the news of Jesus,)

Bakaza kuriwe(Coming to Him)

Abeyurir’ umwijima ,(He lifts them from darkness,)

Abakiran’ imbabazi !(He receives them with mercy!)

Twemerer’abana ngo baz’ahwari!(Let us allow children to come to where He is!)
