Rutagir’ iherezo

Nubw’ inshuti zo mw’isi

Zaduhararuka,

Inshuti yacu, Yesu,

Ntiyaduhemukira

(There is a Friend of children)

(Who lives in heaven,)

(Who loves them with a love)

(That has no end)

(Even if earthly friends)

(Should abandon us,)
