Twishimir’ umunsi w’ Imana,(Let us rejoice in God's day,)

Tubonahw ibyishimo(We are given joy)

N’ umunsi turuhukiraho,(A day we rest on,)

Tuvuye mu mirimo,(Coming from our work,)

Imibabaro yac’ ivuyeho(Sorrow is driven away)

No kwiganyira kose(And all striving)

N’ umuns’ abakuru n’ abato(A day when old and young)

Basingiz’ Uwiteka(Praise the Lord)

Imana yarangije byose(God finished all things)

Kur’ uyu munsi mwiza;(On this beautiful day;)

Kandi ni ho Kristo yazutse(And it is when Christ rose)

Urupf ‘arunesheje,(Death He conquered,)

Ngo dukizw’ ibyaha n’ ingeso mbi;(That we might be saved from sins and evil ways;)

Maz’ atwoherereza(Then He sent us)

Umwuka w’ Iman’ ihoraho,(The Spirit of the living God,)

Wamanutse mw ijuru(Who descended from heaven)

Iyo tugejej’ uyu munsi(When we reach this day)

Tubon’ ubukiriro,(We see deliverance,)

Tuba dusa n’ abasohoye(We are like those who arrived)

Ahitwa Paradiso(In the place called Paradise)

Twari tuguy’ umwum’ ukabije;(We had been in terrible thirst;)

None tubony’ amazi;(Now we see water;)

Kand’ isi twasezeranijwe(And the land we were promised)

Tuba tuyigezemo(We are entering it)

Non’ ingoma nyinshi zavuze(Now many bells have rung)

Guhamagaz’ abayo,(Calling the people,)

Bateranire gufungura(Gathering to open)

Ifunguro ry’ Imana:(The feast of God:)

Ubutumwa buramurikira(The message gives light)

Bos’ abo mu mwijima,(To all those in darkness,)

Kandi busa n’ amazi meza(And it is like good water)

Ahembur’ imitima(That refreshes hearts)

Nuko dusab’ Iman’ iduhe(So we pray that God gives us)

Ub’ umugisha mushya(This new blessing)

Kugira ngo tuzasohore(That we may arrive)

Mu bwami bwo mw ijuru(In the kingdom in heaven)

Ni ho tuzajya duhimbarisha(There we will raise)

Ijwi ry’ umunezero(The voice of joy)

Data wa twese n’ Umwana we(To the Father of all and His Son)

Kandi n’ Umwuka Wera(And also the Holy Spirit)
