Iyindi yos’ amahoro(All others in peace)

Iteka, twumv’ ibyishimo(Forever, we receive joys)

Biva ku Mana yacu(Coming from our God)

Uburuhukiro bwiza(Beautiful rest)

Bubaho mur’ uyu munsi(Exists on this day)

Umucyo w’ Imana yera(The light of the holy God)

Ub’ uratumurikiye(It gives us light)

Ni w’ utweza mu mitima(It cleanses our hearts)

Ku munsi w’ Uwiteka(On the day of the Lord)

Mbega, nambar’ iki none,(Indeed, what shall I wear now,)

Mbone kwizihiz’ Imana ?(To be worthy before God?)

Dor’ umwambaro yampaye(Behold the garment He gave me)

N’ ugukiranuka kwayo,(And His mercy,)

Kugira ng’umubi nkanjye(So that a sinner like me)

Nerekan’ ubwiza bwe(May show His beauty)

We yamviriy’ amaraso,(He covered me with blood,)

Kuko ngir’ ibicumuro;(Because I have stains;)

Gukiranuka kwe ni ko(His mercy is what)

Kwez’ uyu mutima wanjye(Cleanses this heart of mine)
