Ni h’ ujy’ uhurira—N’ abo wakijiije

(Your house, God,—We rejoice in it:)

(It is where You meet—With those You have saved)

Duteraniramo—Guseng’ Uwiteka,

Tukamwaturira—Ibi tuba baza

(We gather there—To pray to the Lord,)

(And we ask Him—What we need)

Dufashirizwamo—N’ Ijambo ry’ Imana:

Tukirisomerwa, —Twunguk’ ibya Yesu

(We are helped by—The Word of God:)

(It is read to us,—We learn of Jesus)

Tubwiririzwamo—Ibidukomeza

Mu ntambara nziza, —Bikatunezeza

(We are told there—What strengthens us)

(In the good warfare,—And it encourages us)

Twagera mw ijuru, —Tukazarushaho

(We sing there—The praise of Jesus,)

(When we arrive in heaven,—We will do even more)
