Gukundana kw’ aba Yesu(Loving one another among Jesus' people)

Ni ko kudukoranije,(That is what unites us,)

Ariko murunga w’ abana’ Imana(But in the family of God's children)

Yabanje gukund’ abayo(He first loved those who are His)

Duhore dusabirana(Let us always pray for each other)

Ngw iduh’ imitim’ ihuje,(That He may give us united hearts,)

Ngw imare muri twe ibyaha n’ ubgoba,(That He may end sins and drive them away from us,)

Iduh’ umugisha wayo(That He may give us His blessing)

Twabon’ umukristo wese(When we see any Christian)

Watay’ iyi nzira yayo,(Who has abandoned His way,)

Tuzinging’ Imana ngw imwibuts’ ibyayo(Let us ask God that He may remind them of His things)

Ngo yonger’ arebe Yesu(That they may again look to Jesus)

Kand’ iyo dutandukanye,(And when we are separated,)

Tujyanye n’ Umwami wacu,(May we take our Lord with us,)

Uhor’ uturindish’ ubuntu n’ ihirwe,(Who always keeps us in mercy and blessing,)

Dukomej’ ubumwe bwacu(May we continue our unity)
