Twese tuguhimbaze:

Kokw imbabazi zawe

Ntabgo zizarangira !

(God beyond measure,)

(Let us all praise You:)

(For Your mercies)

Tugushimiy’ izuba

Waturemeye, Mana ;

(We thank You for the sun)

(You created, O God;)

Waduhaye n’ ukwezi

Kutwakira n’ ijoro:

(You gave us the moon)

(To welcome the night:)

Tugushimiy’ imvura

Imez’ ibyo tubiba:

(We thank You for rain)

(That makes what we plant grow:)

Kand’ imirima yacu

Wayihay’ umugisha:

(And our fields)

(You gave them blessing:)

Mana, waduhesheje

Ibigega byuzuye:

(God, You granted us)

(Full granaries:)

No mu mitima yacu,

Wez’ imbuto wateye:

(Even in our hearts,)

(You made the seeds You planted grow:)
