Mana Dat’ ukiranuka,

Ababatizwa none,

Ubah’ umugisha wawe,

Kand’ ubarind’ iteka;

Bahame mu bawe rwose,

Bagushimishe, Mwami,

Kandi babe mw itorero,

Bitez’ ubgami bgawe

(God the Father compassionate,)

(Those being baptized now,)

(Give them Your blessing,)

(And protect them forever;)

(May they remain among Yours completely,)

(May they praise You, Lord,)

(And may they be in the church,)

(Seeking Your kingdom)

Mwam’ isezerano ryabo,

Ngo baryibuk’ iteka,

Ubakomeze mu byawe

Kuko wabapfiriye;

Babeho mu byawe byiza,

Bagukunde mu kuri,

Kuko waje kubakiza,

Bemere gucungurwa

(Lord, seal their covenant,)

(That they remember it forever,)

(Strengthen them in Your ways)

(Because You died for them;)

(May they live in Your goodness,)

(May they love You truly,)

(Because You came to save them,)

(May they accept redemption)

Ntibazatanire mw isi

Bakundane na bose ;

Babone no kwamamaza

Ibyiza byawe byose

Niho twese tuzahabwa

Ikamba ry’ ubugingo

(Lord, give them Your Spirit,)

(That they may follow You completely,)

(That they not be lost in the world)

(May they love everyone;)

(May they find ways to proclaim)

(All Your good things)

(Then we all will be given)

(The crown of life)
