Umuhanuzi Yesaya

Yeretsw’ ibyiza kera

Yerekw’ Imana mw ijuru

Iri mu rusengero:

Abakerubi n’ Abaserafi

Bayishyize hagati,

Bajya bayishim’ iteka,

Bayisingiza bati:

(The prophet Isaiah)

(Was shown good things long ago)

(He was shown God in heaven)

(Who was in the sanctuary:)

(The Cherubim and Seraphim)

(Had placed Him in the midst,)

(They kept praising Him forever,)

(They glorified Him saying:)

Mwan’ Uwer’ Uwer’ Uwera:

Ibyo mw isi n’ ijuru

Byuzuyemw ishimwe ryawe,

Bose baguhimbaze

Baracyaririmba batyo,

Kand’ abantu bo mw isi

Na bo barashim’ Imana,

Umukiza n’ Umwami

(Lord, Holy! Holy! Holy!)

(Things on earth and in heaven)

(Are filled with Your glory,)

(All praise You)

(They continue singing thus,)

(And people on earth)

(They also praise God,)

(The Savior and Lord)

Natwe tuyihimbazanye

N’ abamaraika bose,

Tuti: Mwami nyir’ ingabo,

Ni Wow’ usumba byose;

Ur’ Uwer’ Uwer’ Uwera:

Ibyo mw isi n’ ijuru

Byuzuyemw ishimwe ryawe

Bose baguhimbaze !

(And we will praise Him together)

(With all the angels,)

(Saying: Lord of hosts,)

(You are above all;)

(You are Holy! Holy! Holy!)

(Things on earth and in heaven)

(Are filled with Your glory)

(All praise You!)
