Tujyan’ ungez’ aheza—-Ku Witeka

Sinagir’ aho ngera, —Ntagufite

Mwam’ ah’ ushaka ko njya, —-Uhanjyane

(Take my hand, —Guide me;)

(Let us go until You bring me safely—To the Lord)

(I have nowhere to go, —Without You)

(Lord, where You want me to go, —Take me there)

Ibyago ni bintera. -—Mpumuriza;

Unturiz’ umutima, —-Ni mbabara

Naje nguhungiyeho, —-Ngo nduhuke:

Sintinya turi kumwe, —-Mwami wanjye

(Dangers threaten me. —Give me rest;)

(Calm my heart, —I am troubled)

(I have come to take refuge in You, —That I may rest:)

(I am not afraid when we are together, —My Lord)

Ubu naho nahishwa—-K’ untabara,

Nizeye k’ unzanjyana. —-Ukankiza

End’ ukuboko kwanjye, —-Unyobore,

(I trust that You will lead me. —And save me)
