(It's not you seeking Him but)

(He is seeking you!)

(He calls out preparing Himself:)

(Come as you are)

Arakomanga

Ahamaz’ iminsi myinshi:

Mwinjiz’ ubu !

(Behold He stands at the door)

(Knocking)

(He has been there many days:)

(Let Me in now!)

Agukorera ;

Aribugukiz’ indwara

Z’ umutima

(How blessed to see what the Savior)

(Is doing for you;)

(That He would heal the diseases)

(Of your heart)

Rw’ ibyaha byawe?

Rek’ akubabarir’ ibyo

Byaha byose !

(Are you not troubled by the condemnation)

(Of your sins?)

(Let Him forgive those)

(Sins completely!)

Umwangiy’ iki ?

Ko byatuma yigirayo,

Ababaye ?

(If Jesus is compassionate)

(Why reject Him?)

(What made Him sacrifice Himself,)

(For the suffering?)

Amaganya yawe yose

N’ imibabaro,

None byos’ abiguture,

Uruhuke !

(All your troubles)

(And sorrows,)

(Now He will remove them all,)

(Rest!)
