Yemw’ abaguzwe n’ amaraso

Ya Yes’ Umucunguzi,

Nimuze, mumupfukamire:

Musang’ Umwami

Usumba byose

(All you who are bought with the blood)

(Of Jesus the Redeemer,)

(Come, kneel before Him:)

(Find the Lord)

(Who surpasses all)

Dor’ isoko y’ amaraso ye

Yashyizweho kubwanyu:

Mumwitabe ngw aboze namwe:

(Behold the fountain of His blood)

(Was established for you:)

(Trust Him that He may cleanse you too:)

Dor’ aya mazi y’ ubugingo:

Nimuze, muyanyweho,

Mumwitab’ abamar’ inyota:

(Behold these waters of life:)

(Come, drink from them,)

(Trust Him who satisfies thirst:)

Kand’ intege nke z’ umubiri

N’ imanga y’ umutima

Bimarwa n’ Umusaraba we:

(For the weak strength of the flesh)

(And the sickness of the heart)

(Are healed by His Cross:)

Mwa ndushyi mwe ziremerewe,

Nimwemere, mwihane,

Ni mworoshy’ imitima yanyu !

(You who are afflicted and heavy laden,)

(Agree, repent,)

(You will lighten your hearts!)
