Imbabazi zawe—Zirantinyuye(Your mercies—Satisfy me)

Mfit’ ibicumuro—Byuzuye muri jye;(I have sins—That fill me;)

Niringiye gusa—Ko wamfiriye(I only depend—That You died for me)

Ibyo nacumuye—Ndabyihannye(What I have sinned—I confess it)

Kand’ uko ndi kose—Simbiguhishe(And as I am—I do not hide it from You)

Nuk’ unyuhagize—Amaraso yawe,(So cleanse me—With Your blood,)

Nyogemo, ntungane, —Ico rimvemo(Wash me, purify me, —Make me whole)
