Nubwo mpora ngucumuraho;

Mwam’ unyeze unyejeshe

Amazi cyangw’umuriro

Mpanagurwe hose, Mwami,

N’umuriro nib’ushaka

Nkir’ibyaha birimburwe;

(There is something I ask of You Lord)

(Though quickly I sin against You;)

(Lord purify and cleanse me)
