Ntukajy’ urambirwa—kumwizera,(Do not be slow—to believe Him,)
Nabo wababazwa—N’ iby’ umubiri(Even when you suffer—From bodily things)
Dor’ agufitiye—Ikamba ryiza pe,(For He has reserved for you—A good crown,)
Ikamba ryiza pe, ritangirika(A good crown, imperishable)
Yemwe mwa nshuti mwe—Mwicogora:(You my friends—Who are weary:)
Igihe ni gito, —tukaruhuka(The time is short,—we will rest)
Tuzajya mw’ ijuru—Tube tutagipfa:(We will go to heaven—Where we will no longer die:)
Twitange noneho—Twe gucogora!(Let us persevere now—In being weary!)
Isi y’ umwijima—Izashira(The world of darkness—Will pass away)
Ntabgo tuzongera—No kubabazwa(We will never again—Be troubled)
