Ntukajy’ urambirwa—kumwizera,

Nabo wababazwa—N’ iby’ umubiri

Dor’ agufitiye—Ikamba ryiza pe,

Ikamba ryiza pe, ritangirika

(Do not be slow—to believe Him,)

(Even when you suffer—From bodily things)

(For He has reserved for you—A good crown,)

(A good crown, imperishable)

Yemwe mwa nshuti mwe—Mwicogora:

Igihe ni gito, —tukaruhuka

Tuzajya mw’ ijuru—Tube tutagipfa:

Twitange noneho—Twe gucogora!

(You my friends—Who are weary:)

(The time is short,—we will rest)

(We will go to heaven—Where we will no longer die:)

(Let us persevere now—In being weary!)
