Isi nshya tujyamo,

Yo n’ iy’ igikundiro

N’ iy’ umunezero—N’ amahoro

(This world we live in—Is one of troubles)

(And of suffering—And hardships;)

(The new world we go to,)

(Is one of refuge)

(And of joy—And peace)
