Ngukurikira, Yesu;

Iminsi yose’ umpore hafi,

Mukiza wanjye mwiza

Singitiny’ intambara mbi zose,

Wow’ umpagarikiye

Sinashobora kuzimira,

Ni mpora nkuyoboka

(I have promised to always)

(Follow You, Jesus;)

(Every day keep me near You,)

(My beautiful Savior)

(I will not fear all the evil wars,)

(You have armed me)

(I cannot go astray,)

(I am ready to obey You)

Murengezi nizera

(Savior, I have heard Your voice)

(Warning me against all those:)

(Speak to me in my heart)

(So I do not listen to those false ones,)

Umfashish’ ubuntu n’ ibambe,

We Databuja wera
