Dor’ inzira nziz’ ijya mw ijuru

Ic’ aho yabambwe ku Musaraba;

Yayibwiy’ umwambuz’ umwe wihannye,

Ashir’ agahinda, arakizwa

(Behold the beautiful way to heaven)

(From where He was crucified on the Cross;)

(He showed it to one thief who repented,)

(Setting aside sorrow, he was saved)

Tuzakizwa na nde tutizeye

Umukiza wacu wadupfiriye ?

Yagiz’ agahinda k’ abarimbuka,

Atang’ ubugingo, ngw abakize

(Who will save us if we do not trust)

(Our Savior who died for us?)

(He gave sorrow for those who repent,)

(Giving life, so He may save them)
