Muze mwenyine, twihererane,

Munsang’ ahantu hatar’ abantu;

Dor’ imiruhw irabarembje;

Urusaku rurabaruhije

(Come by yourselves, let us be together,)

(Find Me a place where there are no people;)

(See, the crowds have exhausted you;)

(The noise has wearied you)

Murek’ ibyifuzwa n’ ab’ iyi si,

Mushak’ ibyihishw’ abanyabgenge;

Jyewe na Data tubana namwe:

Ntimuri mwenyine, turi kumwe

(Leave the desires of those of this world,)

(Seek the things hidden from the wise;)

(I and the Father dwell with you:)

(You are not alone, we are with you)

Murajye mumbgir’ ibyo mwibgira,

Ibyo muvuga n’ ibyo mukora,

Mu miruho yanyu munaniwe;

Bimenywa n’ uz’ imigambi yanyu

(You go telling Me what you say,)

(What you speak and what you do,)

(In your labors you are weary;)

(It is known even your intentions)

Inzir’ iraruhije: mwitange,

Mutazananirwa mukigenda;

Mury’ umutsim’ uter’ imbaraga,

Munywe no ku mazi y’ ubugingo

(The way is difficult: give yourselves,)

(Do not be discouraged as you go;)

(Eat from the tree that gives strength,)

(And drink from the waters of life)

Nuko, mukor’ imirimo yanyu;

Nzajya mbafasha mu mibabaro:

Uwitanga nzamugororera;

Ndaza vub’ umusek utambitse

(Therefore, do your work;)

(I will help you in sorrows:)

(The one who gives I will reward;)

(I will soon come with the thick clouds)
