Mu b’ isi no mu bo mw ijuru,

Keretse kwizera ko wogejwe de

N’ amaraso ya Yesu masa

Wogejwe na Yesu ?

Watunganijwe n’ amaraso ?

Har’ ubgo yakwuhagij’ amaraso ?

Mbes’ imyambaro yaw’ irera ?

(Nothing else gives purity)

(Among those on earth and those in heaven,)

(Except believing that you are washed clean)

(By the precious blood of Jesus)

(Are you washed by Jesus?)

(Are you made clean by the blood?)

(Did He pour out His blood for you?)

(Are your garments white?)

Abanduy’ imitima yabo:

Ntimukererw’ ahubgo mutebuke,

Mwezw’ imitima yanyu neza

(The blood of Jesus washes like this)

(Those who have lost their hearts:)

(Do not think that you can return,)
