Nimuze mwese kumv’ inkuru nziza

Z’ agakiza kabgirizwa none

Yesu yabasanze: —Arabashaka;

Namwe muh’ Umwami—Imitima

(Come all and hear the good news)

(Of salvation being proclaimed now)

(Jesus has sought you: —He desires you;)

(You too give the Lord—Your hearts)

Mwitinyishwa n’ uko mufit’ ibyaha,

Ngw azabang’ abater’ umugongo;

Ntabgo yabigira: —Yasezeranye

Kwakir’ uwihannye—Umwizera

(You are afraid because you have sins,)

(Who will be those who turn their backs;)

(He will not do so: —He has promised)

(To receive whoever repents—And believes)

Ni W’ ubge wizanye gukiz’ abantu;

Yavuye ku Witek’ aza mw isi

Ngo tubon’ ijuru, —Yaradukunze;

Yaratubambiwe, —Yaravumwe !

(It is He Himself who came to save people;)

(He left the Lord and came to earth)

(That we may see heaven, —He loved us;)

(He was crucified for us, —He was pierced!)

Abgira bos’ ati: Jye nd’ Ubugingo,

Kand’ unyizera wese ntazapfa

Nzamuha kubaho—Mu bgami bganjye;

N’ urupfu nzamuha—Kurunesha

(He says to all: I am Life,)

(And whoever believes in Me will never die)

(I will give him to live—In My kingdom;)

(And death I will give him—To overcome)
