Hagarara munyabyaha,

Kuk’ uri mu mwijima;

Urarindagira hose,

Ugiye kwiyahura

Ngwin’ Iman’ ijya yakira

Umunyabyaha wese

Ibuka, nta n’ umwe yanze:

Ngwin’ irakurokora

(Stand up, sinner,)

(For you are in darkness;)

(You are wandering everywhere,)

(About to be lost)

(Come, God is ready to receive)

(Every sinner)

(Remember, He has refused no one:)

(Come, He will deliver you)

Wajyaga wibgir’ ibibi,

Ukagir’ agahinda;

Washatse gutsind’ ibyaha,

Nyamar’ urananirwa

(You used to do evil things,)

(And you were sorrowful;)

(You wanted to overcome sins,)

(But you were defeated)

Washaka kuza mu mucyo

Ng’ ubohorwe n’ Imana?

Wakwemera kuyikunda

Nkuko na Y’ igukunda?

(Do you want to come into the light)

(Being freed by God?)

(Will you agree to love Him)

(As He also loves you?)
